Group lessons
Group lessons
Boost your motivation
Everyone at the same level, everyone gets to speak
Learning together only works on one condition: that everyone is at the same level. Each participant therefore takes a test before starting, and that test decides how the groups are formed — not the order of registration.
Groups have between 2 and 12 people. Enough for real exchanges, few enough for everyone to speak in every session — speaking is what people come here for, and you don’t learn it by listening.
The hourly cost is shared between participants: for the same number of hours, it’s the most economical option, and the one that best keeps motivation going from one session to the next.

Who it’s for
Two audiences, two formulas: open sessions bring individuals together around a language, company groups bring your employees together.
In practice
How a group lesson works
-
01
A level test
Each participant takes it before starting: it decides the group, not the order of registration.
-
02
The group is formed
Same level, same goal. For a company, we work out the split with you.
-
03
The schedule is set
A regular time slot and a programme set in advance, in a classroom, at your premises or by video call.
-
04
Regular assessments
The level is retested along the way; a participant who falls behind moves to another group.

I contacted Cours At Home to take Luxembourgish lessons. The lessons are tailored to what we ask for, and scheduling lessons with the teacher is very flexible. I really recommend it, I’m very satisfied.
This language school is great and the staff really listen. Jérôme Koenigsecke, who runs it, is always fully available and will answer all your questions. Liliana (Luxembourgish teacher) is very caring and teaches with exemplary skill.
I am very happy with Cours at Home’s services. I have been using them for a little over three years now, and I can confirm that their service is excellent. Cours at Home always listens to its clients’ needs – needs which, in my case, are rather demanding, since I am usually looking for German-speaking teachers.
I took German and Luxembourgish lessons with Cours at Home and I’m very satisfied. The lessons are well structured and tailored, and the trainers are good teachers. It really helped me progress. I recommend them without hesitation.
The German lessons with Aurore make for real learning, with lots of speaking practice, interactive lessons, good teaching methods and plenty of variety. I recommend her 100%. The lessons are well organised, with flexible options.
Frequently asked questions
What people ask us most
Have a question? Call us now
+352 26 30 27 90How many people are in a group?
Between 2 and 12. Any more, and each person wouldn’t get enough speaking time in every session.
How is my level determined?
By a test before lessons begin. Further tests take place regularly during the course to measure the group’s progress.
What if the group’s level doesn’t suit me?
It happens, and it can be fixed: we move you to another group rather than let you fall behind or get bored.
Are materials included?
Yes. Beginners in Luxembourgish receive a coursebook and a workbook to progress step by step.
Can the company receive financial support?
Yes. Cours at Home is approved by the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training: training costs are deductible, and a tax credit may be granted under certain conditions. Hours are ordered in blocks of 10.
