Corporate training
Training your teams
Why train your teams in the country’s languages
In Luxembourg, language isn’t a nice extra: it’s a working condition. An employee who understands the customer on the phone, follows a meeting in German or answers in Luxembourgish at the counter doesn’t just provide better service — they stay, because they stop feeling out of step in their own job.
General-purpose training often fails for a simple reason: it teaches a language, not a job. A textbook prepares you to order in a restaurant when your teams need to write a reminder letter, conduct an interview or understand a technical file. So we start from your real situations and build the content around them.
The setting is yours: on your premises, on site or by video call, at times that least disrupt production, one-to-one or in small groups. We carry out a level assessment at the start, then hold regular reviews with you — training that isn’t measured is training that ends up being dropped.
Finally, it can be funded. Cours at Home is approved by the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training: your employees’ training costs are deductible, and a tax credit may be granted under certain conditions.

What we teach for companies
Your teams don’t need a language in general: they need to run a meeting, write a letter, understand a client on the phone. We start from those situations, at your premises or by video call.

Our teachers
How we choose your teacher
In a company, the trainer must know both the language and the context: a teacher who has never set foot in a bank or on a building site will miss the vocabulary that matters. We form the groups after an individual assessment, so that a complete beginner is not paired with a false beginner.
-
Recruited after an interview and a test
A bachelor’s degree at least, and native speakers for spoken language practice. We look at the degree, of course, but just as much at the way they explain — that is what helps a student progress.
-
Chosen for your situation
Before the first lesson, we assess the level and the goal, then look in our team for the matching profile — school, section and language of instruction included.
-
Followed up, and replaceable
An adviser reviews progress with you every four to six weeks. If you don’t get on, you can change teacher whenever you ask — no reason needed and at no cost.

I contacted Cours At Home to take Luxembourgish lessons. The lessons are tailored to what we ask for, and scheduling lessons with the teacher is very flexible. I really recommend it, I’m very satisfied.
This language school is great and the staff really listen. Jérôme Koenigsecke, who runs it, is always fully available and will answer all your questions. Liliana (Luxembourgish teacher) is very caring and teaches with exemplary skill.
I am very happy with Cours at Home’s services. I have been using them for a little over three years now, and I can confirm that their service is excellent. Cours at Home always listens to its clients’ needs – needs which, in my case, are rather demanding, since I am usually looking for German-speaking teachers.
I took German and Luxembourgish lessons with Cours at Home and I’m very satisfied. The lessons are well structured and tailored, and the trainers are good teachers. It really helped me progress. I recommend them without hesitation.
The German lessons with Aurore make for real learning, with lots of speaking practice, interactive lessons, good teaching methods and plenty of variety. I recommend her 100%. The lessons are well organised, with flexible options.

Frequently asked questions
What people ask us most
Have a question? Call us now
+352 26 30 27 90What’s the minimum number of participants?
Just one. We work one-to-one as well as with small groups; beyond around ten participants, we prefer to split — language training loses its point when each person only speaks for three minutes an hour.
Does the training qualify for the tax credit?
Yes, under certain conditions. Cours at Home is approved by the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training: employees’ training costs are deductible, and a tax credit may be granted. We provide the documents needed for the application.
Do lessons take place on our premises?
On your premises, at another of your sites, or by video call — and often all three, depending on the team. Schedules fit around yours: many of our courses take place early in the morning or over the lunch break, when they least disrupt production.
How do you know where our staff stand?
Through an individual level assessment at the start, then regular reviews with you during the training. That’s what allows us to form groups of the same level — mixing a complete beginner with a false beginner is the surest way to lose both.
Do you work on our industry vocabulary?
That’s the whole point. We start from your real situations — reception, the phone, meetings, letters, technical files — rather than a general textbook. Tell us what your teams need to do in the language, and we’ll build around it.
